Dog Cookies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, wheat germ and spices. In a small bowl combine the honey, molasses, oil and egg yolk. Mix well and add to the flour mixture. Knead dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch think and cut with cookie cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 15 minutes until lightly browned. Turn off the heat and let cookies dry out in the over until completely cooled and quite hard. Variation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, oats, and baking powder in a large bowl. Using a food processor or blender, mix the milk, peanut butter, and molasses until smooth and add to dry ingredients. Using your hands, knead together. Dough will be stiff. Toll out to 1/4 “ thickness and cut with cookie cutter. Bake for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn off the heat and leave the biscuits in the oven until cool. You can make the treats super rich by using some spreads: Sesame and Tofu spread:
