Fees:
I find it very helpful to meet the patient. Many times a person or pet needs only one visit where a treatment plan is made up and subsequent follow-ups are done through mail or phone visits. At the initial visit I do a short exam, ask lots of questions, look at any reports, particularly any lab results, formulate some ideas and discuss possibilities, discuss the course of action such as a remedy or herbal formula, point out serious considerations such as food, and if necessary, give an acupuncture treatment.
Not every case needs acupuncture; nor does the diet need to be changed or herbs prescribed. Everyone is an individual; every case is unique. A plan is built around the age, sensitivities, needs, and general state of health.
Each visit is $50.00 for a pet -- $60.00 for a person --
usually lasting an hour.
Herbs, supplements, remedies,
etc., are very reasonably priced. Follow-up calls or notes on how the
patient is doing are very important. This information allows me to feel
confident in either keeping the program we started or to modify it somewhat. There
is no charge for follow-up telephone calls after a visit. Many begin to improve very quickly within
days or weeks. Depending on the type of problem, it may be necessary
to do a short series of visits or have follow-up visits every few months.
The fee remains at $50.00 per pet -- $60.00 per person -- for an office visit.
Special Pet Information:
Although I have patients come from all over New England, I realize not all clients who seek help -- for themsevles or their pets -- can get to my office. SPECIAL phone consultations are possible -- as are detailed history and up-to-date informative letters.
The fee for a SPECIAL Phone Consultation -- pet or person -- is $30.00. I'll enjoy meeting you and your pet!
